    I’ve installed and tested Showtimes on two iPhones now, and both times it was unstable. The rating/comments were largely defined by a comparison to Now Playing, also free, which I consider superior.

    What do you expect to get for free? Showtimes only shows ads for own apps or classy relevant ads. Not like others that just spam ringtone or any google ad. For some reason MacWorld chose Showtimes as “the best of the bunch” with 4.5 out of 5 stars, a full 1.5 stars above all competitors.
