5. TestFlight https://t.co/4w8wA5Jk <- Bit of a cheat pick, but this system for enabling beta management/testing is really well done.
6. BBC iPlayer http://t.co/M2SMNaZw <- By the skin of its teeth, since it now supports AirPlay. Now a top-notch app for BBC catch-up.
7. Capture http://t.co/tL7yTyBQ <- One-note app – click and it starts recording video. But hugely useful to avoid relatively slow iOS Camera
8. Songineer http://t.co/G9HtQHvN <- Lovely app for getting down quick song sketches, and great scales for musical newcomers.
9. TuneIn Radio Pro http://t.co/0VxcN6L4 <- Nice update for the first-rate digital radio player. Hideous new icon, though. Tsk!
10. GarageBand http://t.co/KXMKDiZD – Apple’s DAW comes to iOS. Lack of note-editing a pity, but fab for guitarists and loop lovers.

It’s that time of year when we go all ‘top ten’. Not many apps covered this year, so it’s a skewed list, but tons of games. Tough to choose.
iPhoneTiny gearing up for end-of-year top-tens tomorrow, but what are your favourite games and apps of 2011 and why?
Free: Broken Sword – The Smoking Mirror: http://t.co/tLa9wNjf <- Remastered point-and-click classic.
